About Me
Jonathan Reule
Jonathan Reule is a children’s author dedicated to creating stories that do more than entertain—they empower. Born with a passion for storytelling, Jonathan creates characters who face real challenges with courage, kindness, and resilience. From picture books that introduce emotional concepts to younger readers, to young adult novels that explore complex feelings and relationships, Jonathan’s work grows alongside his audience.
Jonathan’s journey in children’s literature began at a children’s book publishing company in Singapore, where he was first appointed as Head Writer and then promoted to Creative Director. Through these roles, he has contributed creatively to nearly 40 published books, each designed to entertain, educate, and inspire young readers.
Originally from the USA, he currently lives in Singapore with his family and three story-loving cats–Prata, Tigger and Peanut. Together with his son Scott, they enjoy the privilege of being the first listeners of new tales in progress, providing the perfect sounding board for stories that will soon reach countless young minds.
"Good stories are gentle guides that help children navigate their emotions, understand others, and find their place in the world."
